TOLEDO – “Jesus Bathroom”

Early this year, the New York indie-pop duo TOLEDO released an expanded edition of 2022’s How It Ends. Now they seem ready to move into a new era. “Jesus Bathroom,” the band’s new single out today, is accompanied by a note that “it’s been a while.” It’s a synth-forward rock track that chugs along dreamily, like an aughts blog-rock version of the 1975.
